Since its first hospital opened in 1922, the Shriners Hospitals for Children has provided high-quality care to children dealing with spinal cord and other orthopedic injuries, burns, and cleft lip and palate issues. With 22 locations scattered across the United States, Canada, and Mexico the nonprofit organization helps children regardless of the parents’ or guardians’ ability to pay.
